Training course for the staff of Revenue Service

During September 29–October 18 of the current year, in a framework of “Supportive Program for Institutional Transition” of OSCE mission in Georgia the training course is being held for the staff of the Revenue Service. The training course is aimed at fighting against Trans-border Organized Crime.

Revenues from Realization of Excise Marks

During January-September of 2008 up to 2 333 requests for excise marks have been submitted to the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance. On a basis of these requests there were given out 410 719 162 excise marks. The mobilized sum in the budget amounts 165 856 907.72 GEL. (In the same period of 2007 the mobilized sum was equal to 135 258 568.70 GEL)
Revenues from Taxation of Oil Products

According to the data of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, the mobilized sum from taxation of oil products during January-September of 2008 amounts to 306586419 GEL, which exceeds last year parameter by 54245768 GEL in other words 21%. (In 2007 January-September the mobilized sum from imported oil products was 252340651 GEL).
