Results of N16 Auctions of Treasury Bills

On October 28 of the current year, Ministry of Finance declared an auction of Treasury Bills. On auction N 16 the Ministry of Finance has put up Treasury Bills valued 10 Million GEL and dated 182 days. Request from banks was equal to 32 000 000 GEL, received requests was equal to 14 and satisfied requests - 4.
Implementation of Public Finance Management Reform Support Project at the Ministry of Finance

On October 26 of the current year, at Hotel “Courtyard Marriot” on the initiative of the ministry of Finance there was held a meeting between representatives of Donor and Nongovernmental Organizations and Governmental institutions, where Minister of Finance of Georgia- Kakha Baindurashvili did a special presentation about activities at the Ministry of Finance in a framework of “Public Finance Management Reform Support Project” and future plans of the ministry.
Public Opinion about Revenue Service has Positively Changed

The Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia has taken the second place in a survey which was held by Company “GORBI” and was provided by “Tax Administration Support Project” of International Organization “Human Dynamics”. The reputation of above mentioned institution rose by 2-3% in 2006-2008.
