The Ministry of Finance has implemented several important reforms aimed at eradication of corruption and improvement of service at Customs Exit points. As a result of those reforms Customs infrastructure has improved, administrative barriers have reduced, customs registration procedures have been simplified business sector.

The main priority of Georgian Government is an effective and appropriate use of 4.5 Billion USD which was allocated on 22 October of 2008 during international donor’s conference in Brussels. For transparency of the process and for increasing of public awareness, on its official WEB-page the Ministry of Finance has published special table on which detailed information about allocated sums by donors and future plans on projects and programs are available. The ministry of Finance is ready to cooperate with all interested NGOs regarding coordination and transparency of this process.
