H.E. Nodar Khaduri, Minister of Finance of Georgia met with H.E. Natalie Jaresko, Minister of Finance of Ukraine within the scope of his official visit to the USA. Colleagues talked about the need of extending the trade and economic partnership between the countries. Minister of Finance of Ukraine expressed her keen interest towards the current reform agenda of Georgia, along with tax and customs legislations.
As Mr. Khaduri noted, Ministry of Finance of Georgia stands ready to actively work with Ukrainian colleagues on developing the bilateral relations. Visit of Mr. Giorgi Tabuashvili, First Deputy Minister of Finance and Head of the Revenue Service of Georgia is planned to Kiev in the nearest future.
Minister of Finance of Ukraine herself plans to visit Georgia for the Annual Meeting of EBRD and Business Forum in May 2015.
