H.E. Nodar Khaduri, Minister of Finance of Georgia met with Mr. Willy Kiekens, Alternative Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on November 19, 2015. Mr. Kiekens represents Georgia within the Dutch-Belgian Constituency of the IMF.

Parties discussed the cooperation of Georgia with the IMF, significance of continued structural reforms in the country, fiscal policy-related issues, current economic process and measures planned by the authorities.

As noted, negotiations are in progress with the IMF Mission to jointly establish macroeconomic parameters for 2016.
