H.E. Nodar Khaduri, Minister of Finance of Georgia and H.E. Bettina Cadenbach, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany signed a Financial Cooperation Agreement between the Governments of Georgia and Federal Republic of Germany today.
The said document is a framework agreement, envisaging the allocation of financial support in the volume of 140 million Euros to finance the following projects:
Support of the Financial Sector of Georgia;
Safe Waste Management for Climate Needs – Phase Two;
Open Program of Extension of Power Transmission Network – Program Two;
Water Supply and Sewage Systems for Villages in Adjara Region of Georgia.
Minister of Finance of Georgia expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany for the continuous support provided over years by the authorities of Germany by financing significant project initiatives of the country and for the deepening of our relationship with Europe.
Signing Ceremony was attended by Mr. Lars Oerman, Director of South Caucasus Office Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW) in Tbilisi, Georgia.
