H.E. Nodar Khaduri, Minister of Finance of Georgia met with Sir Suma Chakrabarti, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) within the scope of Spring Meetings of the IMF and WBG in Washington D.C.

Parties discussed bilateral cooperation between Georgia and EBRD. As noted at the meeting, EBRD is a significant partner of the country manifested in the financial cooperation, deeper integration with Europe and attraction of European investments.

Discussion was also related to the Mid-Term Country Strategy currently being developed by the Bank, exposure of EBRD in the facilitation of private sector development in Georgia, second round of GEL-denominated bond-issuance by EBRD, Eastern European Energy Efficiency and Environmental Partnership (E5P).
