H.E. Nodar Khaduri, Minister of Finance of Georgia and Governor of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for Georgia met with Mr. Mathew Fox, Executive Director (ED) of ADB for the Australian Constituency (covering Georgia) on June 15, 2016. 2016.

Bilateral cooperation in the areas of infrastructure, energy, water supply, capital market development and others have been discussed at the meeting. Parties exchanged information and vision of future cooperation with each other.

As noted at the meeting, ADB stands ready to continue its successful cooperation with Georgia and increase its financial support for effective infrastructure projects to ensure the development and economic growth of the country.

ADB ED also thanked his Georgian counterparts for organizing an interesting and fruitful visit and officially invited the Minister of Finance of Georgia to the Head Office of the ADB in Manila, Philippines.

Meeting was also attended by Ms. Yesim Elhan-Kayalarv, Country Director of ADB and Mr. Giorgi Kiziria, Senior Project Officer of ADB.
