ADB TO ALLOCATE 100 MLN USD TO GEORGIA



Agreement on Improved Mobilization of Domestic Resources for Inclusive Growth Program: Sub-Program 3 was concluded today by and between Georgia and Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Agreement was signed by H.E. Nodar Khaduri, Minister of Finance of Georgia and Ms. Yesim Elhan-Kayalar, Resident Representative of ADB in Georgia.

Program envisages the allocation of 100 MLN USD by ADB to Georgia.

Main goal of the program is to more effectively mobilize domestic resources for the increase of public and private investments. Previous activities implemented within the scope of the program include the assessment of debt management and fiscal risks, prior steps for the development of the capital market, actions leading to the pension reform, etc.

It is a final stage of a 3-year-long program, within which Georgia has absorbed 250 MLN USD in the form of concessional financial resources.
