According to Mr. Tsotne Kavlashvili, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia, actual revenues to the State Budget of Georgia have exceeded the projections in the first 11 months of 2016. Based on the preliminary data, Tax Revenues to the Consolidated Budget have reached 7.860 BLN GEL in the first 11 months of 2016, which is by 686 MLN GEL (9.6%) higher than the respective indicator for the comparable period of 2015.
It is worth noting that annual tax revenue projections for 2016 exceeded projections for 2015 by 674 MLN GEL and this indicator has thus been met with a surplus in the first 11 months of the year.
In addition, according to the Deputy Minister of Finance, Tax Revenues mobilized to the Treasury in November of the current year have exceeded the actual indicator for November 2015 by 10.5%. In absolute terms it has manifested in 716 MLN GEL, i.e. by 68 MLN GEL higher than the respective indicator of the previous year.
