Economic growth is one of the most sustainable in the region, stated the Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia, Nikoloz Gagua, during the evaluation of the preliminary data of the economic growth of July published by the National Statistics Office.
As he noted, the growth of export and increased income received from tourism had positive influence on the economic growth.
"In July 2018, exports of goods increased by 31 percent, revenue from tourism is increased by 13.8 annually (52.0 million US dollars) and amounted to 430.8 million US dollars. Our macroeconomic indicators and economic policies provide opportunities economic growth to be sustainable and this tendency to continue in the next period," said Nikoloz Gagua, the Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia.
