The Minister of Finance of Georgia is currently in the United States to take part in the Annual Spring Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank.

As part of the visit, the Minister will hold meetings with the Deputy Managing Director of the IMF, Bo Li; Vice-President of the World Bank  for Europe and Central Asia, Antonella Bassani;  World Bank Managing Director of Operations, Anna Bjerde; World Bank Executive Director, Eugene Rhuggenaath; IMF Executive Director, Jeroen Kliick; IMF Alternate Executive Director, Marnix van Rij and Director of the IMF Middle East and Central Asia Department, Jihad Azour.

 Lasha Khutsishvili will also participate in the  Constituency Meeting. Ministers of Finance and central bank governors will gather from the Caucasus and Central Asia region at a meeting with IMF Deputy Managing Director Bo Li. The Minister will also take part in a roundtable organized by the IMF dedicated to the regional economic outlook.

 Meetings are also planned with representatives of international financial institutions (IFIs), donor organizations, rating agencies and major investment companies.

 From the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Deputy Ministers Giorgi Kakauridze and Ekaterine Guntsadze, as well as the Department Head for State Debt Management  Irakli Kacharava, will participate in the meetings.
