H.E. Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia presented the Draft State Budget for 2025 to the Parliament of Georgia today.
It is planned on the basis of following macroeconomic parameters: real economic growth of 6.0%; GDP deflator forecast at 3% and average inflation approaching the target.
The nominal GDP forecast is set at 99. 239 billion GEL. The GDP per capita exceeds 9700 USD.
The share of tax revenues to the consolidated budget in relation to GDP is 25.5%, amounting to 25. 305 billion GEL in nominal terms. The privatization proceeds are forecasted in the consolidated budget at 500 million GEL. The consolidated budget deficit is 2.5% of GDP, while the government debt level is 35.9%.
The expenditure part of the 2025 consolidated budget totals 32 400 billion GEL. Compared to the initial version of the draft budget, the expenditures of the consolidated budget have increased by over 1.200 billion GEL.
