Macroeconomic Policy
The website of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia provides medium-term macroeconomic and fiscal forecasts, analytical insights into macroeconomic developments and trends, as well as statistical data produced by the Ministry.
Since May 17, 2010, Georgia has been a member of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS). Under this framework, the Ministry is tasked with producing and disseminating statistical data on public finances. Fiscal data prepared in accordance with international standards is submitted to various international organizations, which subsequently publish information about Georgia alongside data from other countries.
The macroeconomic policy section of the website features macroeconomic analysis, information on tax expenditures, medium-term forecasts, publications, fiscal risk assessments, and various types of analytical content.
