H.E. Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia and H.E. Natia Turnava, Governor of the National Bank of Georgia met Jihad Azour, Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department of the IMF as part of the Annual Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

The discussion focused on the country's fiscal and monetary policy for the current year and the medium term, as well as ongoing cooperation with the IMF. Both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining stable macroeconomic policies.

On the Georgian side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers of Finance Giorgi Kakauridze and Ekaterine Guntsadze, and Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vakhtang Tsintsadze.
