H.E. Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia issued an Executive Order promoting senior-level MOF employees upon the nomination of H.E. Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia, thus appointing Ms. Ekaterine Guntsadze and Mr. Mirza Gelashvili as Deputy Ministers of Finance as of September 9, 2021.

Ekaterine Guntsadze specializes in Public Funds Management (PFM). She has been working at the Ministry of Finance of Georgia since 2008 and has been a Department Head of Budgeting since 2015.

Mirza Gelashvili is an economist by background. He has been working at various positions within the Ministry of Finance of Georgia since 2015. Prior to this promotion, he was a Department Head of Macroeconomic Analysis and Fiscal Policy Planning.
